Over the years, I’ve spent time studying how sound evokes certain feelings, attitudes, and decisions and how that can shape the way we experience products in real-time.

Re-imagining Toyota’s Audio Experience
This project transformed my perspective on music production and sound design. I embarked on the challenge of re-imagining the startup audio experience for the 2018 Toyota Camry. My goal was to create innovative and impactful sounds that would elevate the driver’s overall experience from the moment they start the car.
For this project, I meticulously analyzed the purpose of each sound within the vehicle’s auditory system, focusing on creating a cohesive and harmonious auditory alert package. The process involved detailed sound mapping, frequency analysis, and user experience testing to ensure that each sound was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and emotionally resonant.
By blending my expertise in music production with principles of acoustical engineering, I was able to design sounds that enhance the sensory experience, providing a seamless integration of technology and art. This project showcases my ability to deliver high-quality, professional sound design solutions that meet the stringent standards of the automotive industry.

A new audio experience for Sony’s PS5
As an avid gamer, I took on the challenge of re-imagining the startup and navigation sounds for Sony’s PlayStation 5. The current experience begins with a loud ‘beep’ when you press the PlayStation button on the controller, which I felt lacked a welcoming touch.
My goal was to create a more inviting and relaxing auditory experience. The new startup sound was designed to set a calming tone, preparing players for an immersive gaming session, regardless of their experience. Additionally, I re-envisioned the home screen menu sound with an ethereal soundscape to enhance the overall user interface.
This project highlights my ability to blend music production and sound design to create a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
